We aim to enhance childhood experiences and maximise opportunities beyond the classroom. This develops well-rounded individuals with a range of life skills.

Sport
Our extensive range of cocurricular activities supports our main sports programmes, allowing children to learn golf, karate, and Taekwondo. As a KAIIS (Kenya Association of Independent International Schools) member, we participate extensively in interschool sports.

Creative Arts
Our Music department has a team of full-time peripatetic tutors who teach drums, violin, trumpet, flute, guitar, piano, and voice. Our music students regularly perform in teatime concerts, productions, and school events, and can choose to take the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) examinations.

Our Community
Our equivalent to a Parent Teacher Association is a group called FROGS (Friends of Garden Estate Schools), which coordinates social get-togethers for parents, staff, and children. Termly ‘Forum’ meetings are also scheduled, during which headteachers answer general queries from the parent body.

Our students can hone their leadership skills by becoming prefects or house captains. In addition, the Model United Nations and President’s Awards programmes offer our students real-life opportunities to learn and excel in forums outside of school.
