Our Sixth Form offers two courses: the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the International Baccalaureate Career Certificate. We consistently exceed the IB world average pass grades.
In Years 12 and 13, students prepare for university under the guidance and mentorship of the Braeburn Group University Admissions Advisor. Most Year 13 graduates achieve places in their first-choice university.

Curriculum Overview
The IB Diploma
In this course, students study six academic subjects (three at a higher level and three at a standard level) from a choice of 19 academic disciplines and a central ‘core’ of criteria, including the Theory of Knowledge, an Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service).
The IB Career-Related Programme
This is a ‘hybrid’ course combining the flexibility of a Business and Marketing BTEC course with the added benefit of studying two Diploma Programme courses.
Students also take a language progression course, a community service project, and study Approaches to Learning.
All students have two weekly games lessons and are encouraged to maintain high extracurricular involvement in clubs and sports squads.

There are specific resources available for our senior students, including a well-stocked and up-to-date Library; Music room and Practice room; an Information Technology suite with Wi-Fi access on site; a specialist Science laboratory and preparation room, and a fully-equipped Art and Design Technology room.
