A productive beginning to the year in the Secondary school

25th September 2017

The first month back at school has been very busy and there have been all manner of activities undertaken in the Secondary school.

The IB1 students have exceeded all expectations and thrown themselves into the programmes with vigour; many scaling Mount Longonot as part of their Service Learning/and CAS programmes.
Sport has been forging ahead and the school field is abuzz, throughout the week, with squads training and fixtures being played. The rounders teams are bringing in some great results and a resurgence of open level cricket is also underway.
There are also a number of academic trips this half of term and students will be visiting art galleries as well as attending the annual Story moja literature festival.
Of course the parent body has been as involved as ever and while the FROGS are settled into their 'Lilypad' and welcoming new members, the termly parents' forum has already occurred and was very fruitful.
A productive beginning to the year, that we hope will continue.
