BGE Math Students

15th February 2023

On Friday the 10th February, fifteen students from across KS3 and 4 participated in Woodcreek School's inaugural inter school Maths Olympiad. We competed in individual and group activities covering exam style questions, logic games and a quick-fire competition.

We received the following individual medals:

Year 7

  • Tyler 3rd place

Year 9 

  • Ema - 3rd place
  • Samarth and Claudia - Joint 1st place

Year 10

  • Soma - 2nd place
  • Omar - 1st place

We also won the overall school competition!

Excellent problem-solving skills were shown by all our young mathematicians. Well done.
