Braeburn Sports Festival

Following a very disrupted 2 years of sport we were delighted to be able to host the Braeburn Sports Festival once again. Our event marks a very special occasion where 96 Braeburn students across 7 schools showcase their aptitude and prowess across numerous challenging events. Teamwork, cooperation and resilience are crucial as all competitors work as part of a 24 person team.
The first event was an athletics meet followed by a gruelling 4 round Crossfit challenge under the hot sun. Competitors finished the day with a mixed netball tournament. Needless to say, some students struggled to get up and down stairs until the following Tuesday - such was the intensity of the elite sporting event.
Our students worked incredibly hard throughout the 3 events, with a standout performance from Shiro Y13, showing tenacity and effective leadership in each event.
