Braeside U11 Fottball Tournament

The U11 boys' football team travelled to Braeside last Friday, looking to bring home a trophy in the final tournament of term 2.
The group stage was navigated perfectly:
BGE 4-2 Nairobi Academy
BGE 1-0 St. Christopher's
BGE 3-0 Braeside B
BGE 3-1 Braeburn Nanyuki
With a 100% record heading into the semi finals, the team was confident. BGR were our opponents, and in a 15 minute match the yellows were the better team, but just unable to force a goal.
The match went to penalties, and unfortunately we were only able to convert one of our three shots, losing 2-1.
Well done to Gordon, Michael, Siem, Samuele, Vidan, Sammy, Essien, Matthew, Nicholas and Amar for a great effort. Special mention to Essien, who picked up the top scorer trophy with 11 goals.
