This past Saturday, the boys competed in the Kenton College hockey tournament. Their hard work and dedication were on full display as they topped their group (The Banda, Pembroke House, Kenton 2nds and Brookhouse Karen) securing a spot in the semi-final for the first time. Their journey didn't stop there; they won in the semi-final 1-0 against St. Andrews Turi.
The final against Kenton College was a nail-biter. Despite the intense competition, our game ended in a 1-1 draw after regular time and remained undecided even after the golden goal period. Unfortunately, the victory slipped through our fingers during the run-ins marking a heartbreaking loss. Yet the resilience and spirit the team displayed were nothing short of inspirational.
In addition to the team's collective achievement, Samuele, Ben, Vidan and Amar (who couldn't take part due to a golf tournament yesterday) were selected to represent the Nairobi East against Upcountry and Nairobi West schools. Their outstanding performance contributed significantly to winning the trophy.
