Inter-schools Math Challenge

We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the success of our students who represented BGE in the IAPS (The Independent Association of Prep Schools) Mathematics challenge, held at Kenton College on Thursday 9th November.

Each year group, from Year 3 to Year 8, had two teams of two students competing, whose scores have a combined average total for U9, U11 and U13. BGE competed against Kenton College, The Banda, Braeburn School, Peponi House, Braeburn Mombasa, Hillcrest, Brookhouse, Pembroke House and St Andrew's Turi.

We are extremely proud to announce the following results:

• Under 9 category: (Jonas, Shanay, Aarin, Rashid, Casper, Alex, Matteo, Liam ) - Third Place
• Under 11 category: (Emma, David, Naomi, Yusuf, Lara, Shanay, Avery, Rayan) - First Place
• Under 13 category: (Lance, Levi, Khadija, Anika, Tyler, Jaini, Ismaeel, Essien) - Second Place

With a combined average total from all age groups, BGE finished in second place overall.
