KAISSO U19 girls Premiership hockey tournament

The girls were fiercely competitive and very evenly matched with three pool games ending in scoreless draws against Premier, Greensteds and Hillcrest A. The girls fought fantastically for two wins against Peponi B 2-1 and Rosslyn 1-0.
Unified team performances ensured the girls were always in the hunt for semifinal spot which pitted them against the Hillcrest B team. BGE played some excellent hockey once again and dominated the entire game. Luck was not on their side as chance after chance went unscored and once Hillcrest B made it onto the scoreboard they strongly defended any incoming balls, making it virtually impossible for us to equalise. This was an unfortunate end to the day but credit is due to the girls who fought hard and were gracious in defeat.
