U11 A Girls vs St. Christopher's

A great match from the U11A girls vs St Christopher's! BGE took full advantage of their understanding of the game and the rules to score a few quick goals before the opposition could react. BGE moved the ball well, looking for the passes and driving forward, final score 4-1 to BGE.

U11 B Girls vs St. Christopher's

The girls were nervous at the start of the match. However the nerves soon disappeared thanks to accomplished performances from Angel, Chloe Inoa and Talandira.

There were some brilliant saves on goal by Angela, Katelyn, Sita, Njeri and Tadala; some fabulous passing from the defence to the midfield, and then to a formidable scoring force at the front.

The team work was a pleasure to watch as we went on to score 6 goals. Well done girls! MVP Chloe​ K​.

U11 C Girls vs St. Christopher's

On Tuesday 1st March, the U11B girls traveled to St. Christopher's school for a friendly game. The girls were ready for their first match of the term. Four quarters of 10 minutes each were played and the girls managed to score ​a number of goals.​

Special mention goes to Sarah Jane who made most of the goals and to Chloe​ P​ for being the MVP of the match due to her great leadership skills as the Captain on the day. Well done girls!

U11 A Boys vs St. Christopher's

In their final match before the big tournament at Kenton College on Saturday, the U11 A boys stormed ahead, leading 4-1 at half time. Onlookers were particularly impressed with our second goal, where good interplay led to Siem streaming down the right and crossing to Essien, who took a touch thn slammed the ball home.

In the second half the boys took their eye off the ball, conceding 3 soft goals and missing a couple of chances - final score 4-4. Although we played well for most of the match, the boys will be working hard in their final 2 training sessions to make sure they are ready for Saturday.

U11 B Boys vs St. Christopher's
On Tuesday, the U11B boys played St. Christopher's at home. The boys were excited to play their last fixture of the hockey season. They started off well, attacking and defending as a team to add to the individual brilliance. They dominated the first half of the game, with Amar scoring from a short corner and Nicholas scoring a superb goal from the right wing, using his skills and pace to get past the defenders. At halftime, BGE was up 3-0.
The second half was very competitive, but the boys were able to sustain the pressure from the opponents to keep a clean sheet and also add two goals to the scoreline with Peter scoring a hat trick. The game ended 5-0 to BGE.

U11 C Boys vs St. Christopher's
On their debuts for the BGE school hockey team, the boys in yellow stepped up to the occasion, beating St. Christopher's 5-0. Isaac was the star man, helping himself to an outstanding hat-trick. A huge well done to all of the boys on a fantastic performance!
