U11 boys hockey v BGR match

The U11 boys hockey team began their 2022 season with an end-to-end match against our friends from BGR. Our opponents took an early 2-0 lead, with the boys in yellow looking rusty after 2 years without a match. However, this team never gives up, and back they came with a goal.
From the second quarter onwards it was all BGE; our boys pouring forward in search of the equaliser. Unfortunately, BGR managed to break and snatch a third, leaving us down 3-1 and with a mountain to climb. We continued to pile on the pressure, and were rewarded with our second goal of the game to make it a 3-2 finish.
Well done to the boys on a good performance in our opening game.
