U19 girls KAISSO football tournaments

Premiership tournament
The U19 A football teams first game against Premier ended 0-0, though the BGE team had more scoring opportunities but were unable to convert. Their second game against NIS was phenomenal with Ruth scoring what seemed an impossible goal, ending the game 1-0 and Ruth being voted as MVP. Their last game against Hillcrest ended 1-0 to the opposition, who then went on to the finals of the tournament with Premier. A huge well done to the team for their perseverance and resilience, despite having a tough pool in the group stages.
Division 1 tournament
The U19B teams first game against Light academy ended in a draw. Next the girls faced Nairobi Academy - playing a much stronger game but came up just short with a 1-0 loss. With confidence growing after each game played the passing was more accurate and they pushed hard into attack to force opposition errors but they were unfortunate to concede against Peponi and Greensteds meaning they did not advance from the pool stages.
