U9 A and B Hockey Teams v Braeburn Imani Match

BGE Boys B team - In the first fixture of the year the under 9 boys B team stormed to an emphatic 4-0 victory. A commanding performance from Achile and Micah gave the Imani 'keeper a lot of work to do. The whole team put in a great team performance and deserved their resounding win.
BGE Girls B team - The under 9 girls B team lined up for their first competitive fixture. The game was very evenly balanced in the first half with most of the action in the middle of the field. A second half clinical finish from Emma gave the girls a hard fought 1-0 victory. Well done girls.
BGE Boys A team - Stepping out onto the field the boys of the A team looked confident. Some great passing from all the boys carved open the Imani defences. A goal in either half from Khalil saw the boys cruise to a 2-0 victory. A great all round performance from the team in their first competitive fixture.
BGE Girls A team - In a hard fought fixture both teams showed tremendous spirit, testing both goalkeepers. Reagan and Lizzie brought some devastating pace to the side, covering every inch of grass on the pitch. The team were solid in defence and built well from the back. A hat trick from Mariella sealed an assured 3-0 victory for the girls.
