U9 B Girls vs Brookhouse Runda
On Thursday 10th March, the U9B girls team traveled to Brookhouse Runda for their last friendly hockey match in the season.
In their first quarter the girls started nervously, resulting in Brookhouse scoring 2 quick goals. This didn't scare the girls in yellow, as in their second quarter the girls played with some outstanding effort in finding passes, making strong hits and working together, resulting in their first goal of the match ending the first half 1-2.
In their last half of two quarters, the match was closely contested with lots of nice passing and ball skills on show from both teams, each making another score.
Well done to the whole team for working equally hard though the girls lost 2-3. Special mention goes to Emma for her outstanding striking skills.
U9 B Boys vs Brookhouse Runda
The U9 B boys travelled to Brookhouse Runda on Thursday, aiming to end their season with a win. The match was back-and-forth; two even teams demonstrating good passing but slightly wayward finishing.
The match ended in a draw, with both teams going home happy with their afternoon's work. Congratulations to the BGE boys on a great hockey season!
