Turi Orchestral weekend

This academic year, Anna(Year 8); Kavee, Manoah and Natalia (Year 7); Elizabeth, Paula and Zofia and (Year 6); and Zoe (Year 5), together with 10 other International schools, took part in the annual IAPS St. Andrews Turi Orchestral Weekend; a music extravaganza which provides a platform for children to perform selected pieces to an audience, as well provide the students an opportunity to interact with other schools and learn from them.
The theme this year was Disney, and the children enjoyed the medleys of popular songs for ‘Lion King’, ‘Moana’, ‘Aladdin’ as well as ‘Encanto’. This event has inspired these students to continue developing their musical skills and taking up opportunities to showcase their talent in school concerts and assemblies.
